The 2013 National League finals get underway in Wellington this afternoon.
Picking this years winners will prove difficult as no team has gone
unbeaten this year in the preliminary rounds in either gender.
The womens favourites but only slightly may be the current champions North
Harbour as they appear to have found form at the right end of the season
after an indifferent start where they lost to three of the other teams.
They meet the Harbour City/Maranui side in the first womens semi whilst
Marist take on the Waitakere womens side who showed really good form at the
start of the season.
The mens section is very close as well with front runners Marist falling to
North Harbour by a solitary goal in the final game of the regular season.
Marist will take on the local side and defending champions,Harbour City in
their home pool, whilst the 2011 winners Hutt will face off against North
Harbour keen to be in the final tomorrow after losing both the previous two
All action starts at 2.30pm at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre with
