U16 Boys - Div I & Div II - Meeting Monday 25 June This year sees a new development in the National Under 16 Championships ?V the introduction of Division II.
Division I is being held in Christchurch 22 ?V 27 September
Division II is being held in Tauranga 28 ?V 30 September
The main reason for having a Div II is to develop Under 16 players who would otherwise not be attending a national tournament.
There are some very clear eligibility rules that apply including
?? No player who has played in U16 Div I can play in U16 Div II
?? No more that four U14 players can play for a team entered in U16 Div II
If we have enough players available to participate, Hutt would like to enter a Boys team in both divisions.
The costs for participating in both tournaments will vary as the team traveling to Christchurch will fly, and the team going to Tauranga will go by van.
We invite all those boys (and interested parents) who are available for selection in either U16 Div I and Div II National Championships to attend a meeting at Naenae Pool next Monday night, 25 June at 6.30 pm.
