Today's Grand Final of the 2009 NZ Water Polo Master Championships between 'Hutt Masters' and 'Splinters' from Auckland finished in a 9 -7 victory for Hutt. Quarter results: 3-2, 2-2, 2-1 and 2-1.

Both teams played some fantastic water polo and demonstrated skills where younger age group players would be, and should, very impressed by.

The overall event was a huge success, with whole families travelling to Hamilton. The kids got in the water during the 'morning and afternoon tea breaks' and the social programme on Saturday and Sunday evening were also a highlight.
