|2017 Rule Changes Senior Secondary schools competitions |

New Zealand Water Polo has announced rules changes for all 2017 Senior Secondary Schools competitions:
Major changes are:
• will be played in a seven (7) a side format
• will be played with a size five (5) ball for boys’ senior games
• will be played with a size four (4) ball for girls’ senior and boys/girls junior games
•will be played with up to thirteen (13) players per team per game (thirteen including two designated goalkeepers, a maximum of twelve without two designated goalkeepers)

All Hutt males from Under 18 upwards are invited to attending the trainings at Naenae Pool for the last two weeks of January. At the beginning of February, Craig will be selecting a 2017 Senior Mens Squad and also a full training schedule for all age groups will kick in.

|Introduction to Refereeing Course|

The Wellington Water Polo Centre is running an Introduction to Refereeing course on Monday 31st October.
This is for parents, coaches or College aged Students that are interested in either refereeing or learning more about the rules of the game.
Course Instructor: Bradley Hudson
Bradley is the current Director of Water Polo at St Patricks Town and is a nationally graded referee who has refereed many national tournaments and high profile games.
When: Monday 31st October, 5.30-7.30pm
Where: Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre, Meeting room.
All course participants will be given a Wellington D Grade Referee qualification on completion of course.
Maximum of 30 participants.
