We are looking for expressions of interest from adults that are keen to manage an age group squad during 2017.
The Team Manager acts as a liaison person within the team and between the club administration and the team; communicates information effectively and works with the coach to maintain team harmony and develop team unity.
If you are interested in providing positive support to an age group squad, either as a home manager or a travelling manager, please complete the Manager Application form available on our web page and send to email@example.com Applications close 26 February.

Water Polo for our Under 12 Junior Development Squad (JDS) starts on Wednesday, 8 February at Naenae Pool.
2017 trainings will be Wednesday nights 6.30 - 7.30pm and Sunday mornings 9 - 10 am
Kirsten Hudson will be the lead instructor assisted by Adam Pye.

Training for the 2017 Under 14 and U16 boys will begin on Monday, 13 February 6.30 to 7.30 pm at Naenae Pool
Term 1 will see the two age groups combined for a skill based programme.
A variety of experienced coaches will be taking the skill stations including Chris Naylor; Sean Bryant; Jerome McGuinness; Rory McJorrow and Jacob Hogwood.

The recent inaugural Kick Start comp was an opportunity for senior secondary schools to play under the new 2017 rules.
Those schools that played in the weekend have kick started their 2017 campaign.

|2017 Rule Changes Senior Secondary schools competitions |

New Zealand Water Polo has announced rules changes for all 2017 Senior Secondary Schools competitions:
Major changes are:
• will be played in a seven (7) a side format
• will be played with a size five (5) ball for boys’ senior games
• will be played with a size four (4) ball for girls’ senior and boys/girls junior games
•will be played with up to thirteen (13) players per team per game (thirteen including two designated goalkeepers, a maximum of twelve without two designated goalkeepers)
