|Three Girls in Under-15 National Team|

We're proud of our Haley Duffy, Kelly Gilmer and Kirsten Hudson who have been selected in the National Under-15 Team that will be competing at the Pan Pacs tournament to be held in Auckland over late June and Early July.
The team will also compete in a series of games against the New South Wales combined schools team.
Well done girls.

|Under 20 Men's National Championships in Christchurch|

The Hutt U20 Men's team, ably led by Josh Keenan, was very competitive in Christchurch and improved from game to game.
Glenn Benge commented that he was impressed with the attitude of the boys in their application within the game, their behaviour out of the pool and their obvious respect for each other as individuals and as a team unit.
A big thank you goes to coach, Chris Pennell for his commitment and creating a productive team environment.
Josh Keenan deservedly earned our team Player of the Tournament with Mark Rumble and Sam Keenan jointly earning the Most Improved Players. Goalie, Chris Naylor, was competitive against opposition 3 or 4 years older than himself.
Overall, the trip was a great success for the boys who have made significant strides forward this year.

In the first year of a sports scholarship at Hartwick College, New York, Hutt's Megan Thomson has been named in the All-American team.

For those who don't know, prominent club member Mark Willis was involved in a serious motorbike accident some weeks ago.
Mark spent about a week in hospital and has come out with a few extra bits of metal in his arms.
On behalf of Hutt Club Mark, we wish you a speedy recovery and all the best in your attempts to regain full fitness in order to secure another contract with the Coelacanths.

For the first time ever, our club has had two of it's members selected for the national under 15 boys team.
Eamon Lui and Ben Pye will be travelling with the team the the Hawaiian Invitational Tournament in August. A big congratulations boys !

As a result of a great showing at the recent National Schoolgirls champs four Sacred Heart (and Hutt Club) members were named in the National Schoolgirls Squad.

Three Hutt women have been selected for the NZ Womens Squad from which the national team will be selected to compete at the 9th FINA World Championships, Fukuoka, Japan in July.

The womens Under 20 and Senior squads are training to attend the Senior National Champs (starting 31st May in Auckland) and the Under-20 Champs (starting 28thJuly in Christchurch).
Alberto Bertolotti, the NZ Womens coach, runs our trainings on Sunday nights with the help of our own coach, Liz Burman. The girls are lucky to have the opportunity to learn some new skill from Alberto.
